It is a private restaurant setting on the Chef’s estate. The grounds are beautiful. I will definitely come back. My guests have already booked dates. LOVE LOVE LOVE It
Wonderful Experience!. The Pig & Truffle was one of the best dinning experiences that my husband and I have ever had! The Chef and staff where absolutely welcoming towards all of us guests. She greeted us at the door with a huge smile and plenty of personality. The staff promptly took our wine and coats with smiles. They then let us walk around and enjoy all of the unique artwork and decor and letting us mingle with the other guests. The chef and staff are so friendly and fun. I loved the small setting with all the attention being on us and no feeling of being hurried for the next people to take our seats. The food was amazing! I loved watching her prepare the food right in front of us. It was even better being able to help her prepare the food. The food was properly priced and large portions with plenty left to go around, even letting us have more if we pleased. The dessert was fabulous, her bread pudding is to die for! I have since purchased gift certificates for my family and plan on coming back in the near future. Never will anything compare to how amazing that evening was.
Fabulous!. What a unique experience! We dine out often and are sometimes bored visiting the same fine dining establishments. This restaurant is an absolute breath of fresh air! The owners should have their own television show. Not only is their conversation entertaining…the food is delicious and unique as is the building. It’s private dining at its best! Call in advance. Select your food. Anticipate a fun evening. It’s BYOB so you can bring what you like. They supplied a wine spritzer one night and a mulled wine another night. I can’t wait to go back!!!!!! Lisa and Mark are the best!
An incredible experience! …. An incredible experience!I’ve always wanted to learn how to cook something truly amazing but was always intimidated by going to a large cooking class. This was the PERFECT environment to do it! Chef Lisa is so warm, funny, and educated with food. It’s set in their guest house on a beautiful farm which makes you feel like you are home. Her husband and Sous Chef, Mark, makes the perfect companion to her cooking and stories. I bought gift certificates at the end for some family and friends I knew would love this. I can’t wait to try the meal out with some friends next weekend!Don’t miss out on this wonderful experience!!
So much fun!. Going out to eat is not boring at The Pig & Truffle. We had a group of 12 of us. Upon arrival Mark met us before we even got out of our car. The Chef hugged as when we walked into the restaurant and presented us with a mojito.We choose food from the menu that we could not get at most restaurants in the area. The chef had each of us in the party participate preparing each course. Each couple brought different types of wine that the chef recommended go with each course. We arrived for dinner at six and didn’t leave The Pig & Truffle until almost midnight.Chef Lisa made the evening entertaining for all of us. It is a great experience.
Simply The Best!. We made our second trip to the Pig and Truffle and just like the first time everything was top notch! The food is always out of this world good but thats only the beginning, the warm welcome feeling that Chef Lisa, Mark and Sid gave us is what its all about. 5 stars and highly recommended for sure!20 Mar, 2012What a great time we had at The Pig and Truffle.. What a great place! Our meal was made right before our eyes as we interacted with the wonderful Chef Lisa and staff. A very quaint and comfortable setting made us totally relaxed, it was perfect! We were there for a Tapas and Sangria night , the food was really special! We cant wait to go back. Be advised you need to call in advance and reserve a time as everything is done as if dinner is being planned just for your group. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a special and unique dining experience! We cant wait to go back!
