Good Japanese Food. I like Ichiban because I love Japanese food, but live in PA. The food is a little more expensive but has more items on the menu at the Bartonsville place than at the East Stroudsburg store. I personally like the ES store because I always get a bento box and I get my soup and salad with my meal. At the B store they also like to rush you out, even when the place is empty. The ES store is becoming a little tacky with the fish tanks and techno lights but as long as they keep the food the same, its cool. Oh, by the way you MUST try the GREEN TEA ICE CREAM, it is to die for.
Well…I never got to try the place but I can tell you the people are awful. My wife and son and I were at a hibatchi table with another party of four. My wife ordered sushi and my clearly autistic son (who won’t touch anything but noodles in most places) a side of noodles. I ordered hibatchi chicken. The waitress left…then the manager told us that not enough of us ordered hibatchi. Nevermind they had to turn the grill on for the other four people at the table. Awful people and obviously not customer focused or Autism friendly.
Great food/great service!. The food was de-lish!! And the service was fantastic. The family was there for a birthday celebration and the chef preparing our hibachi was very friendly & engaging! Every has a great tiem and enjoyed their meals. I am definitely going back to try the other Japanese menu items and the sushi!!Their Miso soup was the best I ahev ever had!
Best Hitachi in Town. I’ve been into this few times ever since my birthday last month. They were really busy on Saturday . but we only waited for less than 15mins to get seated 🙂 Foods were delicious, Staffs were nice especially Hibachi chef they’re funny and entertaining. Cocktail drinks were reasonable price.
Got it all wrong. Ichiban is excellent. The sashimi is fresh and awesome, the waitress was a little distracted but it was quite busy so it is understandable. The Hibachi chef was very entertaining and friendly. The shrimp appetizer was delicious. The soup was light and complimented the salad well, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the dressing but everyone else seemed to enjoy it. The presentation of all the food was great and everything was so full of flavor. Then since it was one of our birthday’s they sang and gave him a dessert. Of course there was some noise, Hibachi is ment to be as much entertainment as it is a meal. Our experience was awesome and I can’t wait to go back!
