Really Enjoyed It. My brother recommended it. Tried it tonite and I really liked it. I had the mixed seafood in a white wine sauce over angel hair. Ate every bite!I think the prices are good, too. My husband had veal, which is at least $5 more around here (Allentown) and my meal is at least $8 more around here. Our rolls were warm and tasty and we both liked our soups (mushroom and clam chowder). Will definitely go back.
Great Service and Food. Our party of 12 showed up 30 minutes before closing on a Tuesday evening. Hassan was extraordinarily hospitable and welcoming. When we asked about something not on the menu as an appetizer, he had the chef prepare a few different styles to enjoy. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I ordered the NY Strip, which was a special — it was prepared perfectly, delicious, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend
Dinner. My family decided on Saturday evening. We were ready for a wait, but the hostess/waitress said it would be a few minutes, she would just have to clean up the table and we would be set. Then a man walked over(unbeknownst to was the owner). I said we were taken care of the hostess was getting a table ready. Well apparently he didnt like my answer and snapped that she has no idea what was going on and we must go through him. Even my 16 yr old son, made the comment that he yelled at me. The food was ok at best. Not just because the owner was rude. Shrimp scampi didnt have much of a flavor according to the 2 men in my party. My chicken francesse was not as good as other restaurants in area. Would we go back, positively not.
The outdoor deck and staff were very nice, but the food was mediocre. Not impressed with simple basics like bolognese or clam linguine.
I have always like this restaurant. I have also spent thousands of $ here dinning. I love the people that workhere. They are great. But after eating here many many times, and spending at the very least probably $10K since this place opened. On my birthday the owner didn’t even offer to by me a drink. Needless to say I will never eat at this restaurant again.
Great seafood and Italian restaurant. I just ate here tonight for the first time and ordered the shrimp scampi..it was soooo delicious..get the bread and clam chowder too..the bread is super fresh and the clam chowder isn’t too thick like most places. as far as I know this is the best place to go for a delectable meal in Jim Thorpe
Disappointing Valentine Day Dinner. We’ve been To Trattoria before and have always like their menu. I was very disappointed last night with my stuffed shrimp and risotto. The shrimp was over cooked-dried out. The waitress asked us if we’d like more bread and since the first basket had a fresh from the oven loaf that was delicious, we said Yes. Unfortunately she brought back dried out (tasted like reheated) rolls. We then remembered this had happened last time we were there.Guess we’ll stick with A Ca Mia in Northhampton for the best Italian food around.
