Pleasant Surprise. We stopped at Gran Sasso after a long day of driving to visit Longwood Gardens. The 3 combo thick crust pizza was delicious with a great tomato sauce. We also shared the spaghetti primavera which was a huge portion and complimented nicely with a house merlot. Our waitress, Nicole, was especially helpful in providing us with a list of hotels and rates in the area for our stay. Wonderful local Italian fare with exceptionally friendly staff.
