Stopped at Talula’s at the ardent urging of my uncle. He has traveled all over the world and swore that TT has the best coffee and scones he has ever had. He has never been more right. The blueberry scone, warmed slightly for me in their toaster oven, was enough to make me weep. It was so tender it didn’t even need the butter. The coffee was sublime. Three cups and two scones later I was sad to leave, knowing that in a few hours later they will be serving what is rumored to be the best dinner in the area.
