Carr’s used to be a regular lunch stop for me when I would visit Lancaster Central Market. I always enjoyed their food, especially their Caesar Salad with house made dressing. (Sadly, it is very tough to find good Caesars these days — Carr’s is top notch.) Now a few years later, I recommended Carr’s for a family outing. I was hopeful that it was as good as it used to be, and, thankfully, it is! Everything from the cocktails, appetizers, entrees to dessert was excellent. I had the grilled swordfish special. It was fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicious, accompanied by a butter sauce and clams. I also sampled some of the other entrees on the table. The wild mushroom ravioli was probably the best of them all. I definitely recommend stopping at Carr’s if you find yourself in Downtown Lancaster.
