This was the fourth stop in bar crawl on a Saturday. At around 10:45pm, the crowd was small and older so there was plenty of room for our large group to sit. The bar is decorated with stained glass lamps. There are large mural-sized charcoal drawings of celebrities faces which are a tad frightening. The staff was friendly and chatted with me despite the rush. My wife enjoyed a Pimms and Ginger and I had a Yeungling ($4 draft) I will go back to check out some of their beer specials.
There are many great eateries in Lancaster City. This is NOT one of them.My advice – stay away.
Shame.. It’s sad what has become of this place. Used to be amazing.
Great food at a reasonable price. Not cheap, but fairly priced. Excellent selection of draft beers, and the bartenders are top notch mixologists! Wonderful ambience which makes me feel at home! Two thumbs up!
Grass-fed Burgerlicious. We ate fabulous grass-fed burger. It was a bit expensive, $16. But they were so juicy and delicious. They have excellent salads, as well. Their greens are always fresh. The ingredients are better than the common restaurants.Their breads are fresh and home-baked. It’s fantastic.
Excellent Experience. I highly recommend going here for the fresh food and the friendly atmosphere! The service was excellent! You can tell the owners really care. Something everyone should experience!
Will never go back……. This used to be our favorite place. Sat. was the first we have been there since it is under new ownership and it was horrible. We will never be back. It was a $40 meal worth about $10. My husband’s sandwich was literally 4 small bites. Each half was two bites. When she placed it in front of him he laughed. They used to have sandwiches so huge you took half home. My dried out burger which was way smaller than the roll and about 10 fries was $16. The burger is just that a burger if you want cheese or anything else it is extra.We were never brought any bread nor our water. The place had about 6 tables of people and yet the service was slower than slower (when we could find her) and the food took forever. It was a burger and sandwich and it took about 20-25 minutes. The comfy friendly feel of the place is GONE! Instead of friendly waiters/waitresses there were these grim faces you never saw. And there are these creepy HUGE face, almost caricature pencil drawings of old Hollywood stars. Sorry but I don’t want these fun house looking things staring at me while I eat…..they really did creep me out. Especially the two-panel one of just eyes above the big side window.Overall I was so sad when I left, as I said we will never go back. And we had to stop and get my husband take out on the way home because he wasn’t close to being full.
