Very nice staff. They made us and our 1-year-old son feel very welcome for Sunday brunch. The French toast with strawberry compote and lemon curd was absolutely delicious. We would definitely go back!
Citronelle is the Place!. There is a major reason to travel to Lancaster now and it is Citronelle! The food is crafted beautifully (aesthetic appeal) but mainly tastes DELICIOUS! kudos to Chef Rafael and Susan! i cannot wait for the next opportunity to dine there! The entire experience is wonderful!
Love going there!. Went to Citronnelle twice, once for dinner and once for brunch. We love it there. The place is not big, but nice size to get together with friends. The food is excellent. That’s the reason I can’t wait to go back there again. Thanks for opening the restaurant in Lancaster.
Anyone who has not gone to Citronnelle needs to make a reservation and eat some deliciousness. The decor is cozy and comfortable. The service is excellent. The food is excellent and to die for. Treat yourself, a loved one or just have a great dinner with family or friends. You won’t be disappointed!
Delightful!. Everything is so fresh and delicious! We’ve been there 3x (once with the kids for brunch) and have never been disappointed!
By all means, go!. I found Citronnelle to be a gem of a restaurant, sparkling and seductive. A beautiful interior, great, hip background music and warm, attentive, professional service.Susan Louie and Rafael Perez are the team behind this new restaurant, and their passion shines through in their attention to detail, quality and service.Chef Rafael’s modern French cuisine, with its Moroccan and Asian twists, is a gustatory tour de forceelegant salads, perfectly seasoned and cooked meats and delicate sauces.I’ve noticed some negative reviews, and find them perplexing. Personally, I feel the Web engenders a type of reckless egalitarianism and a regrettable lack of manners. I’ve never had a bad experience at Citronnelle, in fact, quite the opposite. I can only surmise those who criticize this great addition to the Lancaster scene haven’t invested the time or thought to evaluate this restaurant seriously.By all means, go to Citronnelle. I’m sure you’ll find it as delightful as I do.
Owner Grossed Us Out. Don’t make a reservation on her website unless you can wait for madam’s confirmation. We did and went shopping on First Friday and when we arrived she horrified us. You walk into the room through a curtain and are standing in the middle of the dining room with everyone looking up while she gets out her IPad and insists the empty tables are reserved…and you aren’t sitting down. I don’t like being called a liar. The place is too tiny for that kind of snub. We were well dressed and soft spoken and really made a reservation. She won’t last long with such obvious attitude issues. There are other places nearby, luckily, where we didn’t even need a reservation.
