Repeat customer. I’ve lived all over the world and I eat out a lot. If Spyro Gyro were in SF, NY, London, LA, Bs.As., Berlin, etc., it’d fit right in. In Lancaster, it’s going to push some boundaries. My gf and I have been going for years. We love it. If you’re a rube, you probably won’t. Subway is next-door. Enjoy.
Yuck!. What a shame that we had such a terrible experience. The menu looked interesting and the first course that we got, was even tasty. From there though, everything went bad. Maybe our clue was that we had to help the waitress and tell her how to spell Moussaka, Pastitsio, and Saganaki. In a place that is supposedly Greek, not knowing what those are is a really bad sign!The bigger problems started later. The food came out in spurts and with enough of a delay that several of our party completely finished theirs before some other got the food they ordered. Two orders were completely missed and we had to ask for them twice before the waitress yelled to the cook about them while standing at our table.The namesake of the restaurant – the Gyros – were terrible. Dry and cold. Made us wonder if they got them from someplace else and just had them sitting in the fridge.Very bad experience and a good reason to never go back.
