One word could describe my experience at Spring House Brewery. Disappointed. My GF lives local and we thought we would quench our thirst with a nice beer after a long walk. Never happened. As we sat down the waitress asked for drinks and we asked for a couple minutes to look at the menu. We also asked for the wi-fi password, which she said she would write it down and give it to us. Next she brought out water and walked away and I asked if she had the password and now she raised her voice saying that she was busy getting water and that I had to wait for the password. Her voice was so loud that it drew the attention of the other staff and other patrons who looked over at our table. After receiving this awkward treatment my Gf and I left without ever having a beer. I have been going to microbrews for a long time but have never received such poor customer service. I am fair to people and give them the benefit of the doubt but my stomach turned and we lost our appetite after having to deal with a waitress with a poor attitude. I eat out frequently and was looking forward to a good experience, which it was not. I don’t think I will be going to Spring House Brewery ever again and will to stick to my go to Brewery Lancaster Brewing Company, which has awesome service, fantastic food and never had a bad experience. It might be a little further drive but it will be well worth my time. I hope management will address the issues of hiring poor quality servers.
