More traditional Italian than most places. Unique among the local competition.. I decided to order delivery since they have free delivery. I appreciate that kind of service compared to places that tack on an exorbitant fee for delivery. The guy who took my order was polite and took my order efficiently. They have mobile credit card readers which eliminates the hassle of cash or having to read off your card on the phone. The Sicillian Boli has: proscuitto, salami, sopressatta, cappicola, roasted red peppers and mozzarella. It’s brushed with oregan and romano. It’s a bit greasy due to the cheese and meats, but still good. It’s an improvement over most places in that they use Italian meats a lot of pizza places don’t bother to use. It definitely gives a more traditional taste you would get close to Philly (I haven’t spent enough time in Brooklyn to know how Brooklyn it is). They’re a little on the expensive side for certain things like appetizers. I love Jalapeno Poppers, but for $7.50 there should be a dozen in the order and plenty of marinara, and the menu doesn’t say. I’d like to try their pasta dinners because we hurt for anything Italian above Olive Garden level quality. Local places try to do pasta, but getting good Alfredo sauce and al dente pasta is a challenge here. With 7 local pizza places within a quick drive, this is the only one I really like for delivery service. Definitely worth the extra cost when you don’t feel like driving and everything involved with pickup.
