Decor is so random it makes it look tacky. I hope they are not calling there food mexican in anyway cause it is definitely not. It is burritos of slop and is very grotestque never will go again
I really liked the wings…not sure what the problem was with the previous reviews. Service was a little slow but I think they had a mix up with our table. The server was very apologetic and made sure we got our food right away. We will defenitly go back.
Had great time. Don’t understand the other bad reviews. I bought double take deal too and does say it isn’t valid with specials. Food was great and service as well!
Wings. These wings were dry and disgusting. Terrible quality meat and they were cold when we got them. Never going to C & C again.
Downhill. A few years ago, C&C was a great place. But sadly, it has really gone downhill over the past year or two. The Thursday night fajitas used to be packed with chicken- enough for 2 fajitas and for lunch the next day. Now you’re lucky to get enough chicken for 2 fajitas. I could overlook that if the service was still good, however, it is not. Waitresses, with the exception of one who is great, are subpar. Was just there tonight and it took over 10 minutes to get drink refills and she only had 3 tables. Also, ordered an entree’ which came with a side salad. I guess it’s something new to bring your salad with the meal. At that point I don’t really want the salad anymore. We had purchased 6 of the Double Take Deals but I’m going to see if we can get our money back. I’m not sure it’s worth 1/2 price.
Down Hill. This place used to be great for wings and service, about 7 years ago. All you can eat Wings used to be 20 your first order and 10 on every reorder. Now its 18 and 6,6,6,… on top of that it takes 25-45 minutes for an order of 6 wings to come out. How can you be proud of service like that? Its all you can eat wings… not all u can eat every 45 minutes. Absolutely terrible service. Do not eat wings at this place. Instead go to MARION COURT ROOM in the city. Its about 7 minutes from here and they have better all you can eat wings on Tuesdays! The wings there come out incredibly fast and the service is much better!
Tex-Mex or Mexican?. When I first started dating my husband, he lived near Carlos & Charlies and took me there on several occassions. I couldn’t figure out what they were trying to ‘be’, restaurant-wise. It is sort of Tex-Mex food, but cafeteria style. Very unauthentic, Betty-Crocker style cooking. I was never impressed and ever since I got a ring on my finger, we have not gone back.
