I stopped for lunch diving through. I had the ham loaf special. Service was quick and courteous. The food was simple, and plain but store made from whole ingredients. I enjoyed my meal thoroughly, did not have room for dessert. I would eat here again.
The food here wasn’t spectacular. The chicken was over cooked, but the ham and beef weren’t bad. None of the food here was particularly tasty, so I’m glad the buffet was inexpensive. It wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t choose to eat here again.
OMG! The lunch buffet had a wonderful salad and soup bar and then numerous delicious meat entrees and sides. My husband said it was the best meatloaf he had ever had. Everything was obviously fresh and homemade. Price was very reasonable.
Great food for a good price!
Very rude, food so-so. Hostess was extremely rude, would not allow our group to be seated until everyone was there, we were a party of 12 and 2 (including myself) were stuck in traffic. Somehow they convinced her to allow them to be seated and when we did arrive the hostess would not allow us to join our group. She made us wait at the front for another 10 minutes while she seated everyone else and then proceeded to check on our group to see how far along they were. We were told that if anyone at the table was on dessert then we would not be allowed to join our group to eat.my husband ended up finding our table without her permission and had to endure a very long lecture about how we needed to eat quickly as the kids at the table had their desserts…we were able to sit with our group and eat, but I felt rushed the whole time and was so mad and appalled at the rudeness of the hostess that I was not hungry. The food itself left little to be desired. Everything was extremely bland, including the deserts. Not worth the price.
Rude.. Stopped in here with a large group of 12 people. 2 of the group (myself included) were stuck in horrendous traffic. The hostess refused to seat the group even though they held reservations for over a week. I told my group to just tell them I wasn’t coming and to start eating. The hostess did seat them with 2 extra chairs for myself and my companion, warning them that if I came too late I would not be seated. When I did arrive, the hostess told me not to approach my family. She looked at the table where many were still on their first plate of food. I was then given a lecture by the hostess that I was late. That she should not be allowing me to join my family (for my grandfather’s 80th birthday, by the way) and that I better eat fast. She said it was unacceptable if my table took too long to eat because I had just arrived (about 15-20 minutes late, btw). The hostess was rude and inconsiderate in ehr dealings with me and my wife, which made her so upset she could barely eat. I shoveled food down quickly, so as not to get another stern talking to. The food was just so-so, typical buffet food. We were treated so rudely and with such attitude from the hostess that we will not be back.
The only good things were the coffee, water, and biscuits. Everything else was bad. Don’t waste your money. Nice staff though.
