Great place for a easy, quick dinner. BYOB & if you forget, there’s a liquor store next to it. We went there last-minute because every place else was packed & had a long wait list on a Friday night. Got seated right away, food came quickly & was good. We walked to movie theater afterwards & was early for the film. Will visit there again next time we go out for dinner & a movie.
We’ve been going to Ginmiya basically since they opened, although with a bunch of little kids now, we spare the other patrons and just get carry-out. Although I don’t like their miso soup (which I love at other restaurants), their green onion pancakes are downright addictive. My whole family fights over them, little ones included, and we always have to get 2 orders. I like everything else they have. I almost always get sushi but even when I venture into the Chinese side, I always like what I get. One of the best things about this place is that you can order Chinese OR Japanese at one place, and Ginmiya was one of the first to offer that genius option. And everything they make tastes authentic. It’s a real crowd pleaser for my family. Love this place.
Yum. Nice place, quiet, a little dated interior but the food was good and the price was great. We had the ginmiya bridge sushi platter and a yakitori that was fantasticAlso failed to notice this the first time, but there’s a liquor store next door and this place is BYOB
