We visited Hurricanes as rated at 2.9, regularly we wouldn’t dine at a restaurant rated this low, but we had a car full of family that made the decision without our input. The outside of the restaurant wasn’t impressive and left us feeling uneasy. The inside of the restaurant was decorated with beach decor, worn tables and chairs, a dated pinball machine and a pool table…very unusual.We were greeted upon entering and told to sit wherever we would like. The server was very friendly and took our drink order while we surveyed the impressive menu. We ordered a variety of food: pizza, steak sub, rack of ribs, salad, quesadilla and a variety of ‘loaded’ fries. We were all very impressed with the quality and freshness of all our food. In addition to the great food and dining experience we were pleasantly surprised at how small our total bill was.If you’re looking for a great, no frills meal I highly recommend Hurricane Pizza Grill. I knocked off a half star because of the very plain/dated decor, but it was easily a 5 star meal!
