Star buffet was one of the first Asian buffets I had ever been to, years ago. I thought it was ok, but found other ones closer to me that were better. Hadn’t been there for a year or two when I went last week, as I happened to be starving on Lincoln Hwy and my boss wanted an Asian buffet. Boy was I surprised. They must’ve stepped their game up due to recent competition because the food was GREAT. I even found some real sushi! A piece of fresh, sushi-grade fish over rice – you never find that at buffets, usually just sushi rolls (which they also had and they were good too). The hot food was delicious. I don’t think I found anything I really didn’t like. The waitress was very nice (and drop dead gorgeous I might add-and I’m a married woman lol). The lunch bill was dirt cheap for the quality of the food. If there is one thing to complain about, it is that it was freezing in there. We went about 11:30am in very cold winter temperatures. I guess they turn the heat off every night and back on when they open in the morning. This makes for the coldest toilet seat I have ever been on lol. If they could get around that, or if you went after they warm-up in the morning or NOT in the dead of winter, there would be no complaints at all. Good job Star Buffet, you earned my respect back.

Nasty, just nasty. The hostess is nasty, the waitresses are nasty and some of the food is nasty. Did I say NASTY yet?
Lunch buffet is a GREAT deal. It’s not 5 star food but it’s good and the dining room is clean and comfortable. Lots of kid friendly choices too. Big selection, clean, and the staff are always smiling. I don’t do sushi from a buffet. Sushi at your own risk.
The sushi been sittin too long wich u can smell an taste it, thats not safe!! Employee friendlyness depends on whos workin and only thing good is the coconut shrimp!!
Worst buffet I have ever been to. The tea pot are dirty. You can even see the bottom of the pot. workers are unfriendly.
