Wish I had just gone to chipolte!. This place is a joke. The food is way overpriced, my grilled cheese was dripping from grease and the owner wouldn’t leave me alone when I was trying to decide on what I wanted. I felt rushed … he was very annoying to say the least. Not returning any time soon.
I’ve been to Tom and Chee three times now- never a disappointment! Great place for kids and adults! Blue cheese chili and Mac and cheese grilled cheese are our family favorites! Will be back for more in the near future!!
So So. I wish there was a neutral rating here because while I did not dislike Tom & Chee I wasn’t overly impressed. The soup selection was very limited and the grilled cheese wasn’t so great I would rush to go back.
Great food. I could pick anything on the menu and have a great meal. The bleu cheese chili is the best thing. Highly recommend this place
Greatly disappointed!. Took my wife here for a night out as she is a grilled cheese and tomato soup fanatic. We paid way to much for the amount of food received. She said her sandwhich tasted like a buttered peice of toast, nothing gourmet about it and we both agreed the soup tasted like warmed up spaghetti sauce from a jar. Like the title says, greatly disappointed.
Do not waste your time. The service was atrocious. No one would tak our order for over 20 minutes. There were six other people there, and ten people working. All u heard were complaints the whole time. And when we got our two greasy sandwiches, we were sorely disappointed. The meat was ok, the cheese was tasteless. Totally not worth the wait or money. Plus the place was filthy. They tried to clean off a table for us, and obviously can’t even do that. We watched lots of people try to order but never get food and just walk out. Don’t waste your time.
Waste of $. This place must be successful only based on the novelty. I was disappointed at how little was put on my sandwich – got a BLT grilled cheese – VERY little bacon, Very little tomato, and 4 tiny pieces of lettuce (the shredded kind – they might as well just left it off). For the amount they charge for a sandwich,my sandwich should have had more ‘fillers’. Other than being overpriced, we found the tables and chairs dirty. Even my 13 year old boy complained of the dirt – and 13 year old boys typically don’t notice!The plus – endless napkins right at your table, which you need b/c of how greasy & flaky the sandwiches are. Another plus is that you can get good ideas of what to include in your homemade grilled cheese (and then you can make sure you actually GET the fillers you wanted).Disappointed – could’ve gotten much more food for my family for that price somewhere else! Will not return.
