Horrible. We went there cos Himalayan was closed. But would be better if we had gone home. Not at all worth it and the prices are freaking high for the crapy food

Wealth of Veggie Options on Buffet. My family went to Tulsi for the first time for the Sunday buffet with my brother and his wife. I’ve been to several Indian buffets in the past, Tulsi definitely had the most options I’ve ever seen (7), not including a soup and three veggie appetizers. On the whole, I thought their chutneys were varied and superior to most Indian restaurants. An added bonus was that the Vegetable Pankoras they were served with were the least greasy and most flavorful I’ve ever had.The cuisine appears to be more northern Indian in nature (based on the place cards, I’m not an authority on Indian cooking). There were several dishes I’ve never had before. They were all competent I enjoyed all of them all. It should be noted that all of them were on the mild side. One dish I fell in love with was a Spinach Paneer dish made with cottage cheese that had melted into the dish rather than the typical hard cubes of cheese you normally associate with the dish. Sad to say that this dish does not appear to be on their regular menu.I though the color scheme of the restaurant was warm and cozier than any Indian restaurant I’ve ever been in. It should be noted that I saw a ton of papers and boxes sprawled out across the bar and register. Didn’t bother me, but I’m sure it would be a turn off for some. On a similar note, it is obvious it has been several years since the place has been painted (marks on the wall etc.). Overall, I would recommend Tulsi as a change of pace for other Indian restaurants in the area, we will definitely be back.

DELICIOUS!. The food is wonderful. Try to gobi, the saag paneer, and the chicken tikka masala…you won’t be disappointed. Not too expensive and the quality is great. Take it from a foodie.

Don’t hold the location or decorum against this place. The staff is pretty attentive but a little slow to bring the check. (Not always a bad thing.) Just go for the food

I have a friend who is from India and taught my husband how to cook authentic Indian food. Tulsi is the furthest experience from that. Their food lacks traditional Indian spices, including heat. For a delicious and genuine Indian dining experience, I highly recommend taj mahal. After dining at dozens of Indian restaurants across the county, taj continues to impress.

Disappointed by the lunch buffet. Would not suggest them
