Had a wonderful breakfast with the hubby. He had a bacon omlete and I had the English Beef Omlete. The steak was very tender and the suprise was a cheese/beer sauce. Very delicious!
Hidden Charges. Had a rehersal dinner at B & B. Surprise charge after dinner bill paid. On the way home I received a call telling me I owed an additional 150.00 for soda. We had pre set menu that stated hot and cold tea included. The additional 150.00 had been forgoten to be added to the bill and would be charged for soda (This was for 19 people no alcohol was drank and half the people drank the ice tea that was included.) I asked for a breakdown of drinks ordered, although it is still hard to believe we drank 150 dollars worth of soda in 2 hours. Anything could have been made up to come to that total. There is no way the bar could have a detailed breakdown as several different people were pouring from pitchers not per drink and it was so crazy in the room. Not enough wait staff to cover a party. They were very overwhelmed even though this party was scheduled 6 months in advance. Also I think we should have been made aware of the per drink charge with no free refills, as I would have just stuck with the free offerings of tea and coffee. Also the wait for our food was utterly ridiculous, over 1 hour, service was extremely slow. Which I could have put up with if not for the fact that everyone had nothing to do but drink tea abnd soda, and waiting over an hour for the food to be brought out (which cost me) good idea on your part. You also ran out of rolls from the start so half the people got none . Only good side the food and company were good. We will not return to your establishment and will advise others not to as well. You should rethink your drink policy or be responsible and inform customers upfront. Also no follow up to letter sent.
