Food OK, Crappy Service. I don’t think this place likes out of towners. The service staff tends to snubb the people from out of town. I think the food is OK, but not great. If you want a spoon, be sure and ask for that early, as it takes several minutes to get a spoon. Not the best service. I would opt for a better place.
Downtown Lounge Bar & Restaurant. I just got back from having lunch at the Downtown Lounge and as always it was great. I love eggplant Parmesan sandwiches and even though it wasn’t on their menu, the cook made one for me. It was as good as they were at the Planet Hollywood Restaurant, where I first ate one. To the cook , thanks.
DTL is exactly what you expect it to be, a sometimes noisy little local bar with surprisingly good bar food. Not exactly a place for big groups but you’ll feel right at home here.
Cream of Crab, 60 minute IPA, and Seared Tuna. I never leave disappointed when I go to The Downtown Lounge. They have great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere. The prices are great and so is the staff. Don’t miss out on this place.
Costomer. The DTL is a warm friendly place to go and socialize. You can always run into someone you know. If you dont, there is a caring bartender or bar maid to chat with. The Riley boys are there most of the time and enjoy talking sports with you. The food is better the pub food and prices are great!14 Jan, 2010The DTL. I love the crab cakes at the DTL.
