The place is small. The food is great! However the prices are too much for what you get. Fridays are the best with their Cream of Crab soup. Make sure to ask for Sherry and Old Bay. Over all the food is good and a worth while trip.
Great place. Great food and prices. i disagree with the guy who says its pricey lol are you kidding me? if you think they are pricey just go to mcdonalds for dinner. Aroogas charges $10 for burgers. they have a great menu and the best lunches compared to other places nearby. like brie burgers and crab grilled cheese?? i had it for lunch last week and i loved it! ive also noticed other restaurants have copied some of their food items. as for the owner, he is not shady…sounds like you have something personal with him. i also know the family, they are fantastic

I had not been there in at least 10 years. We stopped going because it was getting a little seedy. Imagine my surprise when I finally went back recently. Completely different in a good way. Totally cleaned up, beautiful. Service was spectacular. Food was very good. I will be back often.
Good Food, Bad Guy. I couldn’t agree more with the previous post from Smush Smush. This location has some really tasty items, but the owner is trying to become a millionaire by cutting back on quality and constantly upping his prices. He is the epitome of micro-manager. On several occasions, I’ve seen him downright lambaste an employee right in the middle of the dining room. It makes for a rather uncomfortable, already overpriced, dinner. The entire establishment would be much better off if he’d keep his Miss America ego out of sight.
The Owner Bill Paterekas is a shady character……slimeball douchebag actually….But the food and service is the best around! Come see John and Lisa on Friday and Saturday nights they are awesome!13 Apr, 2011The food is awesome! No matter what you order, it’ll be great I promise! The bartenders Will and John are so much fun on Friday and Saturday! The atmosphere is great as well. The only drawback to the place is the owner Bill. He stands around and makes everyone uncomfortable. In my opinion , the place would do more business if he stayed out of site.
