Cafe has its act back together…. I agree with all the bad reviews from 3-4 years ago. In fact, at the time I was lamenting to friends that it seemed like they were doomed. But The Anthracite has rebounded, serving large portions of great food at reasonable prices. Speed of service is average, not great but not terrible like it had been. Expect long wait times for a table on weekends or when there is an arena event, otherwise you should get seated pretty quickly. Make reservations if you can.

Terrible…. Myself and 3 friends came for dinner. We were told it would be a 20 25 minute wait. We were ok with that until.. parties of 2 kept coming in and they kept seating them in front of us. We watched as the wait staff moved tables apart and together to seat customers. Granted some had reservations but all the people who came in just as walk ins and only 2 people they seated them right away while we waited over an hour and 40 minutes. Why couldnt they move a table together for our party of 4 instead of seating 2 at a time that just walked in. Needless to say we finally got seated, the food took over another hour to come out. Although the food was ok and our waitress was great (and we know the wait wasnt her fault, She was the only good thing about our expierence) we will NOT be back!!!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!!
Used to be our Friday nite date place. Service abnd food were good, friendy. Rememberd our names and what we liked, lately food is cold, takes forever and not up to snuff. Bad enough we have decided to pass untill they get their act together or go out of business. I don’t think they will last long with the current status. The waitress said see you next week and we had to tell her we dont think so.
Good hot sausage sandwiches. Only tried the sausage sandwiches, thery were quite good.
There have a great selection and variety of food to choose from. The burgers are amazing(they are not a frozen patty there are handmade), and the wings may be the best in town. They have some very interesting entrees to from including meatloaf stuffed chicken.
Great Place. Great place for wings. There are over 20 different flavors for wings and that includes about 4 different rubs. The wing night is one of my favorite things. Their wings are always big and meaty. They have a very creative menu like buffalo chicken mac and cheese. The beer selection is very diverse with many domestic and imported beers. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Some of the food is pricey, but worth it for the immense flavor.
