Always a pleasure. When I want breakfast, places like Perkins or Denny’s are marginally acceptable when no alternative exists…but whenever I move to a new neighborhood, I strive to find a place with a small, friendly home-cooked feel that I can count on. When I lived in downtown Scranton, that place was Mother’s Table–but now that I’ve moved further south in the Wyoming Valley, that place is Dukey’s.Since we moved a couple months ago, we’ve been back to Dukey’s for breakfast almost every weekend.French Toast in big, hot fluffy delicious slices.Great Omelets.They don’t even let my coffee cup get HALF empty.Small place, friendly service, great food.Dukey’s makes me happy to wake up bright and early on a Saturday morning.
