I really enjoyed myself at the ice house pub in mountain top. The owners are very proud of what they have established and aren’t afraid to try something new. Desserts are made in house and they have really good wings and martinis! Voted best wings on the mountain you can’t go wrong with the ice house pub!
I Love the Chicken Franchese. They take fresh chicken breast strip and dip them in egg then Sautee them in a sherry , lemon sauce with a hint of spices and a bit of butter. Served over linguine with a side salad… very good !!
Ice House Pub – Great Food & Beer. We have been at the Ice House Pub many times for dinner. Their seafood is spectacular, on par with what Cooper’s in Scranton served 20 years ago when they had chefs and not teenage cooks. If you like clams, try them steamed in Yuengling lager – great taste. Pizza is good and the Stromboli is the best. Great beer variety, both on tap and bottled, for those beer snobs like me. Great wait staff, very friendly. Just a quaint pub with great atmosphere with lots of parking easy to get to as it is close to the Nuangola exit on I-81. This is one of my favorite non commercial local restaurants.
Fantastic place to eat. Price are very reasonable. Food taste great. Would recommend this to anyone hungry. Or thirsty for that matter.

Great Food, Great People, Great Atmosphere. The Ice House Pub in Mountain Top, PA is a great place to go if you are looking for a place to eat or for a fun night out. It has a bar on one side and a restaurant area on the other side. It is a great place for families to go out for dinner as well. They have a wonderful staff of bartenders and waitresses. The chef’s are excellent and the food proves that fact. Every meal I have had at the Ice House Pub has been great! They have a wide variety to choose from on the menu and you can’t beat homemade food! Some great specials they have are Build-A-Pizza Friday, Clam Night on Thursday and the Steak and Lobster Special on Saturdays. My favorite is the wings, they are yummy!! They also have a great selection specialty beers, martini’s and drinks. They carry a very wide variety of liquors as well. If you haven’t ventured to the Ice House Pub, you should on your next night out. You won’t be disappointed!!!!
