Fantastic atmosphere in what appears to be a repurposed old bank. The staff was very friendly and much to our surprise the owner/ chef sat down with us to discuss any questions we had about the menu. Roasted Scottish Salmon was over wild mushroom risotto w/ parsnip crisps. It was perfection. Linguine Vongole (w/ clams) was good but as it is such a common dish it was not the star of the show. Definitely planning a return trip and look forward to exploring more of the unique menu.
This is one of my favorite restaurants for dinner and brunch. The escargot followed by the duck confit would have to be my favorite. The staff is always polite and efficient. The food is consistently amazing and their specials are always changing. Definitely a must try
Inconsistent. You can definitely tell when Chef Gwen is in the kitchen and when he’s not. The wait staff is also (obviously) still learning. I really want to love this place but am getting discouraged after 5 visits.
We had dinner there once and it was very good. Went back a few weeks later for lunch and it was horrible. I had the French Dip and it wasn’t hot, hardly had any meat on it, and the au jus was cold and had the consistency of ketchup. My wife had a grilled chicken entree which was basically a bland piece of grilled chicken on top of some mixed greens, that’s it. Both were $15 dishes which were a complete rip off. They do have great French fries though.
