My worst dinner experience ever. On Tues, April 23 I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life at Mizu Sushi. I arrived around 9 pm knowing I had a full hour before the restaurant closed. I was seated immediately and the waitress took our drink order, so far so good. While pondering over the menu selctions the waitress came back with our drinks and asked if we were ready. I told her we needed more time. Less than 90 secondss later she was back I don’t know about you but that wasn’t enough time for us. I put in an ap order and got my gf soup. The soup came out immediately and she again asked if we were ready. I felt rushed. To make matters worse, the soup was ice cold. I was completely turned off at point and wanted to leave. I expressed my concern to the hostes and requested to speak to a manager. She said that they don’t speak/understand good English. I was furious. I told her we are leaving and that o shouldnt have to pay for anything. She charged me for the cold soup our drinks and our appetizer that never hit our table. I will never ever return to this restaurant again and I encourage everyone to do the same!
The best Uni I’ve had in years! Very fresh. Very good vegetable Habachi food and entertainment. The black sesame ice cream was great. Service was good but cold. Convenient location. Enjoy. Peter D.Giatrakis
4 of us ate Sukiaki, Spider Roll, Seafood Yaki Soba, and Spicy Yellow Tail Roll. All the entries were good to very good. Service was quick and attentive. I would highly recommend !
Good Hibachi…not so good Sushi. Enjoy the Hibachi food and show, a little pricey for what you get. Did not enjoy the sushi or non hibachi meals.
Not a lot of food for the price. Better off going to Mirakuyu. Their food is way better and you get a lot more. When I asked for double rice instead of the noodles they made a big deal over it. By the time the rest of my food was ready, I had eaten all my rice. Cheapos.
Im from pittsbirgh amd come visit my boyfriend who lives in the area a cew times a year. Weve been go every sushi place in town. Asaki mirakuya sushi gogo…mizu is the best. Even better than angwhere at home in the city. The prices are almost criminally cheap. Tje service is excellent and above all the food is delicious. Katsudon ks MARVELOUS!!
Decent hibachi. This is where the old Bennigan’s used to be. Very spacious inside and has a nice atmosphere. Unlike many of Mizu’s competitors they offer both noodle and rice with the hibachi meal and the sushi is of good quality. The hibachi portion size is adequate but not as much as the local opposition. Mirakuya has a heaping portion to which Shogun’s generous share is a very close second. Mizu’s hibachi cook was much more docile than a rowdy or boisterous Mirakuya one, which we liked at that time since we wanted to talk while sitting at the hibachi table.Food = 2.5/5 (standard)Price = 2.5/5 (average)Service = 2.5/5 (good)Atmosphere = 3.5/5 (modern & spacious)Overall = 2.5 out of 5 stars
