One of the wort experience ever. We have dined here before but tonight it was a nightmare from the service where was non existence to the food which was extremely over cooked. My fish was most probably left on the hot window for at least over 20 minutes until it made it to my table. The service was terrible, never cleaned up the plates on the table, never offer a refill on drinks, never came back to check if we were doing ok. It took over 30 minutes I gy our food. The waitress never even offer an apology for the delay, we got our sides, are them all and the food still wa not on the table. I would not recommend this place wee again.
First Time visit. We sat in the bar area in a booth. Nothing fancy but nice. I’d recommend better lighting so one could see the menu better. Our waitress wasn’t overly friendly until it was time to leave. The food was pretty good. I had a cup of sweet pepper soup and a sub. B+We were visiting a friend who lives nearby and would definitely return again.
Must say. One post here must have came thru the back door (where the bar area is) this place has a nice dining area (other door) and the food was ALWAYS great whenever I’ve eaten there! And I will return! Loved THE Chicken n Waffles….
3 star out of 5. We recently ate there for the first time, not too bad but not worth a return trip. The food was plentiful but the chef truly avoids spices. I had veal that was a very large portion and very good, the side of pasta was less than desirable and needed seasoning. There were way too many plates on our table as everything is placed in its own dish. My dinner mates had crab stuffed haddock that was bland but good, 2 steaks were dull and needed to be trimmed better. Fries were very tasty and fresh cut, but the other side dishes like salad, beans and pickled beets were drab, to say the least and straight from the can. For the location the price is too high. We all needed drink refills that never came. I knew I should have had the turkey, who can mess up turkey
Excellent Food. We live 2 and 1/2 hrs away but going to this restaurant is worth the drive. The selection of food is excellent but most of all the POTATO LOG IS THE ULTIMATE APPETIZER!!!We have been to this restaurant twice and this weekend will be the 3rd time. I am sooooo looking forward to having the Potato Log and their Shrimp appetizer is also excellent. KUDOS to the Chef!!!!
