I had the foot long 1/4 pound Coney Dog and a strawberry slushy and I enjoyed it.
Nothing special… Food has a flat taste.
Love this place. Ohhhh, where to start. I used to live in Texas and grew up with delicious Sonic food, after moving north I was shocked that there were no Sonic’s around until now. Heard that a Sonic opened in Wilkes-Barre and finally got there in Feb. Even better than I remembered!! I had a Steak Toaster which was a promotional item that came with free onion rings (mmmm). The steak was like the steak you would get on a phily steak but this was on two pieces of Texas Toast with fried onions. I also added peppers and put on my own marinara sauce on the side. It was excellent. The rings were just as I remembered, hard to believe a fast food joint could have onion rings this good. BK’s are jsut frozen nonsense. The best part of the meal though was my Coconut Cream Pie Shake, I had been dreaming of this since I heard about the Sonic opening. It did not disapoint. Sonic, please open one in Bloomsburg!!!
Healthy Food Too!. Lots of small portion choices for those who are concerned with eating healthy and counting calories (ex. snack size sundae for $1). Also, the diet cherry limeade is great for a low sugar alternative!
Finally Sonic!. After years of teasing us with tempting commercials Sonic is finally in Wilkes-Barre. The new Sonic has delicious food as very cheap prices (less than Mcdonalds). The drinks and desserts are worth the trip alone. The only problem is it is very busy for lunch and dinner and sometimes a much longer wait that usual for fast food.
