Big Disappointment. I have been to Thai Thai three times – the last time against my will – and have been amazed at how consistently substandard the food is at this restaurant, and how high the prices are. I realize that they have no competition in Wilkes-Barre for comparison, but even without that I could figure out that the food was not being cooked to order, and that the menu contained only the most trite of Thai foods. So if those folks who commented that they weren’t able to tame down the hotness as requested, it is a bit difficult if everything is coming out of a pre-cooked pot of soup. Most of their offerings can be made using pre-packaged packet mixes sold in every convenience store in Bangkok – 7 Elevens. Considering I just got back from Thailand, and was in many, many restaurants while there in 1) Bangkok; 2) Chiang Mai; and 3) Chiang Rai, I now have an idea on how Thai food should taste – and this place isn’t even on my radar. Not all Thai food is hot and spicy – generally there is a side condiment with fish sauce mixed with chili peppers that you add to soups, and noodle dishes. I might be more impressed if I saw some grilled fresh fish, or some fresh fruits as offerings.

Has become a staple for take out. Always pleased.
Yummmmm. I have only been there once (even though I have had it suggested to my husband and I many times) but I was very happy!!! the Chicken Wings were possibly my favorite, not your average wing, but with a nice spicy and tasty sauce ( i think we ordered level 3)… For dinner I ordered an item with chicken, clear noodles (yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm) and some veggies (I forget the exact name of the menu item) and i was very pleased. My ONLY problem I did not like was I asked for a side of their wing sauce to put on my meal rather than Only what they served with it but they told me they had lil dishes or seasonings, well I did not like them as much as the wing sauce……. I am actually heading back there again this week. Also to be downtown and watching everyone walking around was nice (and amusing at times)
Don’t go, bland & boring food. This is NOT authentic Thai food. Thai Thai makes deluded quasi Chinese food with an extra side of dullness. I have been there and multiple times along with their Scranton location and I won’t be going back. The last time I went was for a birthday celebration and service was poor. Food = 2/5 (NOT good)Price = 2/5 (too much for what they make you)Service = 2/5 (slow)Atmosphere = 3/5 (adequate)Overall = 2 out of 5 stars
The curry is amazing. My wife had crab fried rice and she loved it.
