A hidden gem. This is one of the best places to go for breakfast in the area. There is usually a line and mostly tables for 4 or less although they do have some seating for bigger parties. Family owned. We love it.
We have been here twice now. Both times there was a short wait, but it was only 5-10 minutes each time. The waiting are is pretty small, so I suspect that keeps waits from being very long. The ambience is nice. It’s an old part of town. I’m new to the are but I would guess it is somewhat historical. It is a pretty small place, but they make good use of the space so that it doesn’t fee too small. There is a counter, too, that you can walk up to and sit at if you are alone or there are just two of you. The service hasn’t been amazing. On both occasions I had to flag down the server to get refills of coffee. But, the food has come out right and been hot. Speaking of the food. This is the real high point. The food here is very good. We’ve now tried four different dishes and they have all been delicious. High points thus far are the knot hole eggs, corned beef hash(if you like that), and the French toast. Overall, good experience. We will continue to come here because there seems to be a lack of real quality breakfast places around.
