  Best ice cream store in town!. I absolutely love this ice cream store! The selection of ice cream’s is fabulous and the homemade ice cream cakes are to die for. This is definitely the place that you want to come to get an ice cream cake for your special occasion. An added bonus is that they have yummy frozen dog treats. My little pooches just adore them. Don’t miss out on this long time Mechanicsburg gem.

  Way too much $$$. How can a milkshake cost $7? It’s milk and ice cream!!! In Mechanicsburg!!!

  For a place that doesn’t even make their own ice cream, it’s far too expensive. I don’t see it being open much longer. Take the ride to Leo’s in Carlisle, instead.

  We have tried just about every ice cream place in mechanicaburg and surrounding areas. Ramestraws is my husband and I’s absolute favorite! The staff is very friendly, the Ice cream is delicious with many favors to choose from, and the prices are reasonable/comparable to other places. (approx $8 for 2 sugar cones)We both always get a small sugar cone and there small compares to a medium anywhere else we’ve tried. You definitely get your money’s worth.

  Just awesome ice cream!! Try the grapenut. Yea it’s expensive but all worth it. One dip is overflowing the cone.

  Have eaten ice cream here for 40+ years now. Ice cream is very good but no longer very affordable. Good for an occaisional splurge.
