A trip down memory lane. Carol and Greg Kupp keep the Kupp family tradition alive and kicking in Middletown. This diner has been owned by the Kupp family since the 1940’s. The one thing you will always get there is consistently good food, excellent service and a friendly atmosphere. Those things have never changed since the doors opened in the 1940’s and I doubt it ever will.I have eaten breakfasts and lunches there on and off all of my life and I can say I would recommend this place to everyone!
Great food, great service, great ambience. This place is like a movie set. Friendly, great service, diverse clientele, delicious food (especially the baked oatmeal and blueberry hotcakes)! BYOS!
Best Restaurant Around. Kuppy’s Diner is the best restaurant around. I love getting their tuna melts and sweet potato fries. You won’t be disappointed with any food option nor the company that you will have while enjoying your meal there. Give it a try!
The Best !!. Kuppy’s is the best place for a good meal & free entertainment @ the same time. It is a real life reality show every day…not to be missed !!! Enjoy !!
A Small Town Treasure. Kuppy’s Diner is by far my favorite restaurant in Middletown. I’ve lived in town for almost fourteen years and only discovered this gem a few years ago. Tucked behind a bank and across the street from the Press and Journal Newspaper, this diner has been passed down through the Kupp family. The owner treats everyone of her staff, customers, and meals with compassion and care. It’s small and little cramped, but it’s definitely part of its charm. Checkered in red and black on the floor and seats, a 1950s style takes you back to Middletown during a more fruitful time. The coffee is always as refreshing as the morning’s first cup of the day, perfectly paired with an egg sandwhich, baked oatmeal, or a stack of flapjacks. Sit at the bar and you’ll enjoy some good talk with the employees and smell the hot grill, your meal cooking just four feet from you. Kuppy’s has brought me a lot of memories, I just wish they were open seven days a week!PS: If you’re feeling adventurous, get the fried oyster sandwhich for lunch. It’s juicy!
Kuppy’s is the best around for true homemade everything! That is why they have been around since 1933 and featured in PA Diner Book. Go there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and always leave with a full stomach and a smile 🙂 Thanks to the Kupps for being a part of my childhood and adulthood.
I dont know what the other reviewer was smoking!. I love going to Kuppys!! I always get the Spicy Buffalo Wrap and it is excellent. Ive eaten there several times and have never been let down. I go for Breakfast and Dinner and I’ve never felt unwelcome or turned off by peoples attire. I would highly recommend people goto Kuppy’s for good food an good conversation!! The other reviewer was using a coupon should have read the fine print and not blamed the Diner, I think no matter what they (the reviewer who used the coupon) would have been unhappy.
