Disappointing. This had been one of my favorite places to go over the years. I didn’t frequent a lot, but a couple times a year and every time we went the experience was always awesome, the owner Kim was always lovely. Under the new management I was very dissapointed. The waitress was actually rude. When I stated we were ready to order, she insisted on giving us a minute which turned into 10 minutes and during that time she completely ignored us. When we were ready to start ordering I wanted to start ordering with my niece since it was her birthday and the waitress rudely barked orders at me that she was starting with me. The gentlemen waiter was very sweet and we were very glad that it was switched. The appetizers were flat/tasteless and cold from the escargot to the French Onion Soup. I am not sure what they did with the original recipes but you shouldn’t change what was perfection. I came home hungry, dissapointed and sorely sad that the BRidgetown Mill House is not the same place.Needless to say – we miss the white glove service, the awesome food, the kind service.
5 Star Dining Experience!. 5 Stars. This place has everything you look for in a fine dining establishment. I took my wife here as a surprise on Valentines Day. We arrived 10 minutes late for our reservation at 7:30 pm and were greeted by a lovely hostess that sat us promptly at our seats. The place is very historic and romantic, perfect setting for Valentines Day or a romantic evening. The service was very attentive and exemplary. Our waitress went out of her way to make sure we were very satisfied with everything. My wife ordered the salmon and ordered the duck breast. DELICIOUS! Then we finished our meals with dessert and cordials. We look forward to coming back to the wonderful Bridgetown Mill House Restaurant & Inn.
Great food, great location and kind staff! Worth to try!!. My family and i had dinner here last night for Valentines day. The food was just incredible! The landscape of the restaurant is just great. It was snowing and that just made the feel to the restaurant even better. Waiter/waitress were really nice and treated us like family. I recommend to all to visit this spectacular restaurant in beautiful Langhorne!
New Owners Have Ruined This Gem!. We’ve been here three times before and had wonderful experiences, so we made plans to return to Valentines Day! What a disaster! It’s clear the Inn is under new ownership/management that doesn’t know what they are doing. When entering we were welcomed with the barking hostess telling us they are 30 min behind. That would have been fine but that was just the beginning. We had a 8pm reservation and were told they were out if almost all of the food. Although they offered to seat us (all customers after us were turned away… Even with reservations) we declined to pay the prefix for no entree options. We will never go back! Please ignore the previous reviews when managed under the original owners. Those great aspects of this place no longer apply.
5 Star Dining On A Reasonable Budget. Bridgetown Mill House Inn Langhorne, PAOn October 5, 2013, I hosted a rehearsal dinner for 49 people at this charming restaurant. From hors doeuvres to dessert, we received outstanding service and remarkable food. The owner, Kim, actively manages the restaurant, while her husband, Russell, is the chef extraordinaire. They are both friendly and engaging professionals that strive for excellence. They make sure youll have a memorable dining experience, for sure. They and their staff do a fantastic job. Kim provided ample, courteous, attentive servers, and bartenders. We didnt wait for anything all night. I just cant say enough about the incredible service and food. GOOGLE the name to see their web site. The pictures look exactly like the restaurant. This is a cool inn. They also have an outside bar that our group enjoyed, stocked with all the liquors/wines anyone could want first class. The portions of food were plentiful, especially the desserts. The dining room was tastefully illuminated while the glasses, dishes and silverware sparkled. Everything is extra clean and inviting. Inside are several fire places to add a romantic ambiance. So if youre looking to celebrate an anniversary, or special occasion, choose this lovely Inn and you wont be disappointed. Entres range from $21 (chicken) to $31 (filet Mignon). A very quixotic atmosphere, I must say. Finally, be sure to do yourself a favor and pretend youre rich – eat here at very reasonable prices.

I almost like it. Beautiful setting that’s very quiet and romantic. However, the service is very poor. A few times they would be pro-active but twice they gave a menu and then never came back for 20 minutes to see what you wanted. Same thing with drinks. The food wasn’t bad but there was nothing that stands out either – I was expecting something better and less bland for the prices. If this were half the price, I’d recommend it for the setting alone – unfortunately the service and bland food make it a destination I won’t return to.
