We were very disappointed in the food. However, the service was great and they had someone playing guitar which made for a nice environment. We will need to think hard if we will give them another try.
Chef Pat Rogers always has an exciting menu. The Grumpy Pork was great as usual. Sausage veal pasta was delicious. Taramisu was out off this world. Great service also.
Food was good my problem is with the service we received as we held our rehearsal dinner there. For bringing in 50 ppl to their small restaurant they really treated us poorly. They took over 2 hrs to serve dinner. The time was 7-10 and they served us the bride and groom last around 9:15. They absolutely did it on purpose so the party would drink more while waiting. Ppl actually started eating the cupcakes we brought bc they were so hungry. Food was good but will never return because of how they treated us after paying several thousand dollars. Don’t recommend for large parties.
Wish we would have walked out. My sister took me to Alto Cucina to celebrate my arrival from California. She was anxious to take me to a good local restaurant. We also had my brother’s two children with us (ages 16 and 21). Their was no one to greet us and finally someone saw us standing and helped us to a table. No chairs pulled out, small talk, here is your table. We all sat down. The waiter was rude, abrasive and in a hurry. He put in our appetizer order. Then came back for our entree order. We waited 25 minutes between appetizer and entree. He never once stopped by our table. He acted like we needed to eat and get out of there. I was appalled and my sister felt so bad. I tried to find a manager as we were leaving but no one was even around. Stay away……….this is no way to be treated.
