Excellent atmosphere. Exceptional service in a friendly atmosphere. The chicken fingers appetizer is more than sufficient for a meal we could have a choice of a side instead of Fries. The spasagna how was hearty. highly recommend. The fresh baked croissants are to die for. Cheddars is a great value.
Excellent Restaurant with great lady managers and fresh food and good prices!!!!. We live in Erie,Pa.& we enjoy dining almost everyday at CHEDDARS at the Iterchange Rd.because of the excelent management of JENNIFER & her staff esp. Zein(lady with class&good rapport with all dining patrons so we all keep coming back & enjoy the hospitality not to mention freshness of the salmon, steak ribs with very affordable prices which we gladly share whatever we save to the servers! The portions are great too! Keep up the good work as we tell everyone we know about your awesome menu and staff!
Always Pleased. I have eaten at several Cheddar’s restaurants and have always been pleased. Love their bourbon glazed salmon! Never had a bad meal at Cheddar’s and it’s one of the few places we agree on to go for dinner! There coffee is really good too!
Cheddar could be better. Had dinner at Cheddars last Friday with some friends and it was awful. The waiter was a creepy guy with a Ron Jeremy Stash and was very unpleasant. Next we where told when ordering our salads they where out of tomato? Who runs out of tomatoes? Next we where told the rolls where on back order, we never received them. Finally my meal came with the wrong side, and they brought out my wifes soup super cold. The waiter blamed it on the cooks and took it back to heat it up. The waiter completely forgot about her soup, and when I questioned him on it he blamed it yet again on the kitchen, saying they where keeping it from him back there. She never received it until everyone else was finished with their meals. I will not be returning.
Eaten here many times and always had a good meal and a nice time. Tonight was a different experience, My burger came with a sauce I had requested to leave off of it so I sent it back. When it returned to me (less than 2 minutes later) it has clearly been scraped off and was the same item still with residue of the sauce on it. I refused it and opted not to get anything else to eat since I had lost faith in the chef at that point. The manager came out and was unapologetic, I can only assume that is standard procedure. We will go back after a considerable amount of time to be sure there is a new manager. I have little doubt this was ALL MANAGEMENT and has nothing to do with kitchen or wait staff. They’re charging $7 for a burger and are too cheap to flip a new pattie when it’s legitimately returned? On a side note, any time an order comes right back out after being sent back there’s something wrong! If it took 20 minutes to prepare the first time how can it be prepared in 2 minutes the second time around?
There were 4 of us in our party & we all enjoyed it. The food was good, the service was friendly, the prices were predominantly under $10 (except for the combination meals). The atmosphere as nice, the restaurant and restrooms were clean. The only negative was the long wait for our entrees — the salad was served quickly, but we waited about 25 minutes between when that was served and our meals arriving. We were in no rush, so that didn’t really matter to us. Don’t let the negative feedback keep you from trying it here — unless you are in a hurry 😉
I am typically not a picky eater. So, when I walk away from a restaurant disappointed, that’s saying something. The first thing I noticed was a weird odor throughout the restaurant. I couldn’t pin down what it was. Perhaps it was old cheddar…? :-)We got the chips and queso, which was ok. We added seasoned beef, which I could’ve done without, but it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. My husband wanted steak and ribs and this seems to be the only place that has a combo like that anymore and it was extremely cheap so that was basically the whole reason we went there. They ran out of ribs at dinner (Friday evening – we went around 9 so, not surprising). He went with a 12 oz ribeye instead. I ordered a steak and shrimp combo (6 oz steak and four shrimp). The kitchen staff misjudged the time the shrimp would take so our food was lukewarm when it came out. We chose the mashed potatoes and broccoli cheddar casserole as sides. The portions were small. The casserole was good, but the rest of the meal was disappointing. The shrimp were overseasoned and the ribeye seemed to be very fatty, moreso than usual seeing as ribeye is not a lean cut. The waitress took a while to get us refills and forgot to put in my husband’s drink order. But let’s try to focus on the positive…the waitress was very nice and friendly, if not a little overbearing, but I guess that’s kinda what you want when you’re being waited on. My husband ordered the 10 cane Hawaiian punch and it was tasty. The restaurant has nice decor. I don’t think we’ll be going back, but it was at least an experience. Hopefully, one that others will consider before eating there themselves.
