Full Of It. My family and I have been customers of this bakery since I was a little girl. I find some of these reviews to be absolutely preposturous stating that the owner is rude. Because the bakery chose not to donate to the AJO# thing does not make her rude. You people are wrong, they are wonderfu people and the best bakers in town, if you don’t believe it bake your own or go to Giant Eagle or Wegmans I can assure you that their baked goods are NOT FROM SCRATCH A loyal customer not afraid to use my name Keep it up Sontheimers!!!Wendy Thornton

Customer. Extremely rude owner. I was shocked by how she spoke to me. I will never set foot in this bakery again.

Sontheimer’s Bakery ruined a lot of good will in the community by choosing to actively not support the #ajo movement, but by also apparently making injurious and slanderous remarks to one of the parents. For a local business like this, I like to look for more than the quality of their food, but the quality of their character of the people running the place. I won’t be supporting this business any longer.

The worst. The owner of this bakery is completely flat out rude to customers and does not care who hears her being rude. Her opinions on AJO are rightfully hers, but to voice personal, slanderous opinions about the O Neil family was it for me. I will NEVER step foot in that place again.

Sad. This place may have good food, but they are run by some of the most rudest, arrogant, meanest people I have EVER seen!!!! When working with the public, esp. if u are supposed to be a small town down home place of business you would think one of your top priorities is not to just have great products but to also have fantastic customer service. This place needs a lesson in that. How to treat people, talk to people. They are judgmental, they will talk down on their fellow businesses in the area, they gossip and are just mean. Telling people they wont join in on the AJO because they believe the parents killed their child is INSANE to say the least. How dare they! It actually breaks my heart for the parents. AJO is an amazing thing. What blows my mind AJO is in remembrance for Alyssa, but it also means so much more then that. It’s about paying it forward, giving back to others, making someones day a bit brighter. How do you deny that? Also what I don’t understand they are still making their money no matter AJO or not.
