I had my bridal shower here. It is a very lovely place and well decorated. However, the service was terrible. I had to go back twice to ask for the empty water jug to be refilled. They said they would bring lemonade out, and it was never provided. They served all our food before the drinks. They are a tea house, yet acted surprised when people requested tea. Tea and coffee were not served until everyone had already finished their meals. They then charged us extra for the tea, which was previously said to be included. The tea came with no honey or lemon. No one checked on us the entire time, we had to go back to ask for things. It made my shower a very stressful experience because I was worried about my guests’ comfort the entire time.
Our family has been to Stonehouse Step Back in Time Teahouse quite a few times. The atmosphere is lovely. The prices are good. The food is delicious. Prime Rib is very good. Our grandson loves the pan cakes. The frittata’s are delicious. Our family has been here for Mother’s Day brunch, Holiday’s, Sunday brunch and other times. We will keep coming.

Thought about the special till we found out the corned beef was canned. Ordered scrambled eggs. Came out cold. Still waiting for a coffee refill. Won’t be back.

Birthday Lunch. Nov. 8 2012 my best friend and I went to the Stonehouse for lunch to celebrate. We were greeted at the door by Erica, and seated. The lunch menu was full of choices. The first decision was from the Tea listing. We felt, it was quite a selection. Also nice selections for lunch. Everything that we ordered, was delicious and service was excellent. We also felt that prices were reasonable, comparable to prices at chain restaurants. As we were leaving, Erica offered to show us around the Spa. Nice facility.
Good dinner…had the chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The dessert too…banana split pie! Yum! Service was excellent!
