My wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight because we needed somewhere to eat near where we were staying in Girard. What a great find! The stuffed chicken breast and Louisiana chicken were outstanding! We’ll definitely stop in again when we’re in the area.
Never a bad meal…. I, and a few of my co-workers, eat lunch at Twins at least once a week, and I have yet to have a meal where I was dissatisfied. The atmosphere is relaxed, the regular wait staff is attentive, and the prices are almost unbelievable. Some of my favorite things at Twins include the following: Country Fried Steak, Smoked Gouda Burger w/Bacon, the Broasted Chicken Lunch platter and the Unsweetened Iced Tea. You wouldn’t think that it would be hard to find good Unsweetened Iced Tea, but it is. The Tea at Twins has to be one of the best in town and is sold at a price that is well below the competition. So, if you’re looking for a great lunch spot in Millcreek; check out Twins.
Dine at Twins twice a week.. The best wings in Erie…even GE corporate comes here. Reubens are tops and their steak sub is the best in Erie. Chopped sirloin and Beef-on-wick are every day favorites. Fresh cut fries (try and find them elsewhere) are too good to pass up. Cold Labatts Blue on tap too.
Always a solid choice. I’ve eaten at Twin’s dozens of times now and wanted to share my experiences. I eat lunch there an average of once a week. The permanent lunch specials on the menu are quite good and very reasonably priced (around $6 for entree and fries!). The broasted chicken is also quite good. Honestly, I’ve never had a bad meal there.They also try different daily and weekly specials that are worth checking out. Some recent ones have been gnocchi with smoked sausage (kielbasa), country fried steak, and smoked gouda burger. All have been quite good and I would order them again.Service is fast and very friendly. The food is consistently well-prepared and comes quickly. They have been renovating out there the last few months and updates are noticeable in the dining room and bar area. Twins is definitely worth checking out if you haven’t been there.
