MoJo No Mo. Had my worse experience with the mount joy diner yet, and I eat there every week. On new years day, they were so slow, we waited, just the two of us, for 10 minutes before someone got us a table, then we were ignored for around 35 minutes, while our supposed waitress was at the table next to ours 3 or 4 times, wasting time. We didn’t know it at the time she was supposed to be our waitress, until we finally said WTF. Finally, another girl took our order and then another long wait started. The food is OK, like always, not sickening, but nothing to cheer about. After we were finished, the tall skinny guy who is usually just a waiter, I guess was in charge that day, showed that he really doesn’t give a rats furry butt about the customers. He really didn’t take charge and didn’t care about the crappy service. When he asked about everything, when I was paying for the food, I told him the food was OK but the service sucked. He only said, ok, $19.51. My thought on the diner is that, even though we eat there once a week or more at the present time, I’m thinking about never going back again.

Never saw the waitress again till she came to ask if we wanted dessert. Never checked if we wanted refills on drinks, never checked if our food was satisfactory. Which it wasn’t, stuffed chicken was stuffed with a huge ICE COLD lump of stuffing. Even the owner or hostess at register didn’t even ask how food was, she must have realized how lacking it was.
Rude Staff even when you order Take Out. This place will never change
One visit was one visit too many!. Recently moved to the area from out of state. Noticed the restaurant was always fairly busy & decided to give it a try. The food was not very good and over priced. The tables are crammed in with no room to move through the restaurant. I would hate to see if there was a fire inside & people were trying to get out. Greasy grime through the restaurant. One visit was enough!
MoJo’s!!!. First off, MoJo’s (aka Mount Joy Diner) is not really known for it’s dinners or food in general. It’s more just for the experience. When you’re 18 and you live in the Middle of No Where it’s nice to have some place to go at 1am where they just keep filling your coffee cup. The waitresses are extremely down to earth and easy to talk to. No one judges you there and it’s just a comfortable atmosphere. Their food is cheap, decent and smothered in grease, but the place has that good ole small town feel.

Black and White. Breakfast is great here, but dinner leave a whole lot to be desired. We recently decided to try this place for dinner. What a mistake! First of all the place was very cold, granted it is August, but still cold. The waitress appeared, chewing gum, and so gushy that it was sickening. She got our drinks, which took a while and finally returned. We ordered the shrimp parm and spaghetti and clam strips and fries. After waiting quite a while, the food arrived. The clam strips were not real clams but minced and formed into strips. The fries were great and I never got the cole slay that was suppose to come with it. The shrimp parm were ground shrimp mixed with some other ingredients, breaded and deep fried then cover with mozzerella cheese. The spaghetti was greasy and the sauce was just plan gross. It came with garlic bread and we asked for it to be just plain bread. She had a hard time comprehended this and finally I spelled it out what I wanted. Needless to say, the bread came. It was dried out with no butter.I would never recommend this place for dinner. Breakfast definetly. Perhaps they need to change the chef for the dinner crowd as he just doesn’t do it for dinner!
