  Thanks for the food poisoning. My entire family now has severe stomach aches and diarrhea. I may even have to take my little baby to the hospital, she is crying in pain and pointing to her stomach. If the whole family gets it then you are not following food preparation guidelines or leaving food to sit out too long. This was the last time we eat here!!! The food tasted great but we don’t want to get sick from eating it. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

  Stay away from baileys steakhouse. Today we were in the poconos and we decided to stop at bailey steak house and that turned out to be a diseaster they changed all their menus and now when you order something they trick you when you order a steake dinner generally you always get 2 sides with it so i ordered a bake potato and the salad bar the waitress said the salad bar is considered 1 side but what she forgot to mention was when you order the salad bar as 1 side it counts as 2 sides so she never told me there would be a charge for the baked potato also my wife ordered mashed potatos and they had the balls to charge us an extra 50cents for gravy on the potatos when the meal was over i paid but on the way out i went to the manager and complained this worthless piece of crap was very arguemenitive saying that if you look at the fine print on the menue it says salad bar counts as 2 sides instead of just being nice and saying im sorry for the misunderstanding all she did was to keep argueing me if this ignorant fool worked for me she would be fired immediately so in the end they charged me an extra 3 bucks for a 25cent undercooked baked potato and i had to pay it because i did not bring a magnifiying glass to read the fine print on the menu fair warning to all stay away from baileys crap house because they will screw you over and to top it off the waitress tried to charge my card 20% for her tip until i spoke up and said i will leave the tip in cash seperate i should of left her 10cents thie ignorant rude thing that she was but i left 3 bucks and if she dont like it then perhaps she should get a personality and she will earn a bigger tip!!!!! bottom line is the menu is very confusing and the manager belongs in a cage and the waitress was better suited for work in a downtown flop house!!!!!!!!

  Never had a bad experience here. Glen is a great host!! We usually go with a group and they have a table waiting for us. We make a reservation every time. Sure, if they can’t accommodate us for a certain time, they tell us and suggest what may work better.

  Do not give this restaurant your business!!!. Went to the Poconos to celebrate a birthday and wanted to give Baileys Steakhouse a try. Restaurant choices in the area are sparse but this steakhouse had pretty good reviews. We called about 4:30 in the afternoon on Thursday, April 10th to inquire about reservations. We asked what time they closed and were told 10:00pm. We asked what time they would take a reservation for last seating and they told us 9:00pm. So, we booked a reservation for two. We arrived to the restaurant about 5 minutes before our reservation time. We were greeted by the hostess and as she tried to seat us the bartender said You may want to check with the kitchen, I think they shut down.. The hostess sat us anyways, gave us our menus, and then left for the kitchen. About 1 minute later she came back out and told us Its been a slow night, so the kitchen decided to close. She was very dismissive and unapologetic. Apparently having a reservation booked is too much hassle for them to stay open!! We didnt argue to try to get a meal. I think fighting for food and service in a restaurant that clearly doesnt want or care about your business is only going to end in a terrible dining experience. So we promptly left. And will never ever ever ever ever under no circumstances return. They completely ruined our night and our birthday celebration. I will make sure I tell every single person I ever know that goes to this area to never patronize such a business with such lazy staff. I hope this review finds the eyes of this restaurants owner and you can re-train your staff so that they learn their income comes from customers. Not from packing up early and leaving paying customers high and dry. And teach them that while they may not have missed out on more than $20-30 on this meal, they have no clue just how much business theyre losing for your restaurant in the long term by treating people like this. I will review your restaurant everywhere I can possibly find and tell everyone I know. So Im sure I will personally account for thousands of dollars in lost revenue. And very deservedly so.

  This was our favorite place to visit in the Poconos. Tonight 7/27/13 my wife and I were looking forward to another great meal. Unfortunately we in good conscience couldn’t even allow ourselves to be seated after 5 minutes of waiting. This happened because of the rude and unforgivable comments and actions of the host. In that 5 minutes he verbally attacked 5 different customers with rude comments and even spoke about an elderly man walking up the outside ramp with a walker,saying he doesn’t look like he needs help he already made it that far, after being asked by his family for that help. We couldn’t stand to stay for another minute. We asked for the manager and was horrified to find it was the host himself that was the manager. We will not be returning to this restaurant while this man is the manager.
