Great local restaurant. We have been regular dinner customers at Jake’s for a number of years. We find that the food is always prepared well, and the chicken dishes are juicy and tender–just right! Portion sizes for entree’s leave us with generous leftovers so the meals are real bargains. While not particularly creative, the menu offers a good selection of mainstream dishes broad enough selection even for regular guests like us. We strongly recommend Jake’s!
I just waited 35 minutes for an order of two eggs and a waffle. are you kidding me?! this place is horrible. i was just about to ask for the check when the food finally came out. the eggs benedict were like two tasteless glutenous globs of excrement and the belgian waffle came out with hardly a dusting of sugar, some strawberries thrown on top. no whip cream or fruit syrup? it was basically an oversized eggo. the hash wasnt hash at all. hash has flavor. this atrocity was a mush of overcooked potatos that i had to douse in katsup to make edible….and i f’in hate katsup! but i had hardly any choice because after waiting at my table for 35 minutes for BREAKFAST i would have eaten anything. I AM NEVER GOING BACK
Great Breakfast. Jake’s is a comfortable family restaurant, now in two locations (Richboro and Newtown). The pancakes, french toast, and Jakewiches are great and cheap. I don’t ever order anything there except breakfast– served until 3– so I cannot comment on their lunch or dinner items.
Best restaurant in Richboro. Jake’s is a little small for the amount of people they serve but it is comfortable and the service is great. They seat you as fast as possible and the servers come to take order quickly. I mostly go there for breakfast but occasionally I’ll get some lunch or dinner. No matter the occasion Jake’s always leaves me full and satisfied. Not only is the food good but it is not expensive. If you live in Richboro or are stopping in town quickly Jake’s is the most accessible place to go for a quick bite.
Great food, great breakfast, a wonderful atmosphere, and frequently a line for a table. Always a good sign.
