My Favorite Local Sushi Joint!. This place has has by far the tastiest spicy tuna roll I have quite possibly ever had and I have been to tons and tons of sushi places, even famous places like NOBU in Bahamas and no one gets the spicy tuna roll so good as Mitaka. It is the perfect amount of spice and they lightly tempura the inside. I like that the size of their rolls fits perfectly in your mouth and everything I have ever had there was very good. Their steamed pork buns are a must for an appetizer. The dough simply melts in your mouth. The service is good except when they are busy it seems they get a bit disorganized because they don’t have a lot of servers it is a small family owned restaurant.ATMOSPHERE: Contemporary, low-lighted, modern booths and chairs, quiet and a very relaxing experience. Very Clean.Green Tea only .50 cents and very tasty.
Best sushi I’ve tried anywhere and with reasonable prices. Not just the sushi, but their chinken Habaichi, and seafood soup are also delicious.++
Best Japanese in Harrisburg. The sushi here is probably some of the best you will find in Harrisburg. I have never been disappointed and I recommend this to everyone who wants top notch sushi. Make sure you ask them for their special roll menu. It has about twice as many choices as the list in their full menu.

Don’t let the neighborhood fool you. Mitaka is very nice. Most of the he food is great. Sushi is good, but not great. The prices seem pretty reasonable. The service was fast and friendly.
Nice Place. I have driven by this place quite a few times and wondered what it was like. My wife and i received a gift certificate from http://www.resturant.com at a steal and decided to try it. We were pleasantly surprised. i ordered hibatchi, my wife ordered an egg dish (i forget what it was called) and some TNT rolls. All were excellent and we will be going back.
