Although main dining area is inside (and more of the action!) this has always been a roomy outdoor dining/people watching space.
I have been to Chestnut 7 three times and alwasys had the same below average experience. The service is always slow and the food average. However, it does boast outdoor dining which is nice in Chestnut Hill. But don’t expect good food or good service.
Brunch menu has extensive options. The short rib omelette, mushroom truffle omelette, and BBQ sandwich with homemade chips were all on the brunch menu, and they were delicious. Restaurant is also kid friendly, great cocktail list, service was excellent!
