Very elegant and romantic, Good but menu needs to be a little more simplified… Dishes are a circus in your mouth
Best by far in WB. I have to say i’m very confused by the negative review.. I’ve been a long and loyal customer of Isabellas for years now.. i think what people misunderstand is the quality of the ingredients is far superior in the area and that is why it reflects on the price.. i know Allen on a personal level and he greats you at the door with a smile and is a true professional every time.. i dont think the women in the review understands the whole white tablecloth restaurant dining EXPERIENCE.. IT would be hard fought to find another restaurant of this caliber in WB…
Good food, decent atmosphere. Mostly attentive,albeit incompetent wait staff dampened the overall experience.
Best Dining in Wilkes Barre. Fabulous meal, fabulous service, great atmosphere! Every detail was perfect. My husband and I dined at Isabellas and were wowed by the excellent meal. I had the pan seared halibut which was served in a delicious tomato based bouillabaisse sauce. My husband had the wild sockeye salmon in white wine chive nage. We were treated to scrumptious Bruschetta on thinly sliced baguette toast. After dinner we were served a wonderfrul blueberry mousse parfait – WOW! Both the brushetta and parfait were compliments of the chef. Highly recommend this restaurant!

A Great Date. I was looking for a classy place for a night out and Isabella’s was the best. Trendy metro atmosphere. excellent menu. great taste. very friendly waitstaff. will go back.
Excellent. I had eaten at Isabella a few years back and was not impressed for the price. I felt the food was just OK for the large tab our table received at the end of the meal. I was back there approx. 2 weeks ago and was just delighted with the entire place. I had heard that the chefs and staff were new. We had a drink or two at the bar and Matt was a pleasure. Gladys was our waitress and she was on the ball and very personable. Even the helpers that were there were very nice and friendly. It was an excellent meal (Kobe streak and short ribs) and even better service. We will be back on a regular basis.I still do feel that it may be a little formal for the area, but it seems like the new people working there are making it a more comfortable environment and not so stuffy.
