Save Your Money. Ate out at River Grille this weekend. The food was not good at all. Very,very overpriced for the quality. Even the burger my friend had was overcooked and tasteless. While it seems most people just go there for a drink they do offer up dishes from Filet to chicken wings. I myself had a steak and can honestly say it was the worst steak I have ever had. Costing me over $20 I expected much more. I have eaten here before and have been at some private parties and the food was awesome. What happened? We won’t be back.
Big Disappointment. My wife and I used to frequent here all the time last summer and the food was great. Recently we revisited the River Grille after being away for awhile. Not sure if the same chef was working here but I doubt it. The food was less than mediocre. In fact it was horrible. The waitresses seemed more interested in texting and talking with each other than taking care of us. As the place got more busy our entrees seemed to take longer and longer to come out. The managers seemed unorganized. We ordered buffalo bites as an app and received soggy, dried, flavorless chicken. We sat patiently waiting for our soup and salad for about 25 minutes.None of the managers seem to care that we were waiting. There was an older gentleman who stood at the front door and talked with waitresses as we sat with empty drinks waiting way to long for our 2nd course. Soup was horrible. For our main course I ordered the Lemon Soy Tuna and my wife ordered the Shrimp Champan. I didn’t think we were even going to get this food it was taking so long and again no one seemed to care as the older manager just stood around joking with the staff. When we finally got our entrees we have been at the restaurant for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I took one bite from my tuna and didn’t want to even go in for a second. The sauce was horrible and the tuna tasted fishy, on top of being overcooked. I asked my wife how her shrimp was. She told me that the shrimp tasted fishy to her. Since we are not one’s to complain we kind of sat there and moved our food around our plates for about 10 minutes. At least the sides were edible. We passed on desserts for obvious reason. This used to be a great restaurant. Now it seems like no one there cares about the service or food. We will not be back.

Awesome. Ate there on tuesday 5/18…the food was GREAT and you can tell everything was fresh and homemade! we had a rather large party and the food came out fast and hot.. our server was great and very personable and attentive.. we are definitely going back when the weather is warmer to sit on that huge deck the have…great job A+
Horrible service, granted we had a larger group but still 45 to order another hour for food and forget about drinks. Wish I had cooked my steak for $20, fatty and raw, was hoping at least medium. Nice deck will probably never eat there again.
River grille is fantastic! Love the enormous deck on both those sunny days and warm nights! Couldn’t ask for a better view ! Menu has such a variety and the staff is great!! Love it
