Tannersville. To many guys hanging out with the girls working inside. While customers are waiting. Tonight inside girl working kissing one of the boys who was leaning inside the window. Think owners should come by to see all this. Plus drinks being passed out with no charge. This does not look good or inviting for people esp families with young children. Thus summer seems to be getting out of hand.

Great ice cream!
Until I learned. My family and I have frequented Gabels for years, food is ok but overpriced. Ice cream is good, but after meeting the owner and learning about him, I quickly changed my mind and will not EVER frequent there again. @ a township meeting he was trying to use his political contacts and pull to push a small local businessman out of business before he could even open, because it was his competition. To put attacks on someone and hurt someone is just wrong…
Like you remember as a kid. There aren’t many ice cream stands like this around any more. It’s a neon-lit classic, and has been a local landmark since 1956. Aside from the good food and great ice cream, there’s an exceptionally nice play park for the kids on site. Plenty of picnic tables outside. Locally owned and operated. Like I said, the kind of ice cream stand you remember going to as a kid.
