Great take out but….. We have gone there for many years.. The Place at Fountain Court has dropped their buffet and is just take out.. food is still great.. Actually we always preferred the take out because you could order special exceptions / additions very easily… We do miss the lobster rolls that they had on the buffet at New Star.Unless I am mistaken, the EAST GORMET BUFFET in the Giant Plaza has nothing to do with New Star.. In fact I think they art in direct competition. You make your own choice, but They are different ownerships as far as I know.I want to use New Star.. I like the food and the people who run it. I hope they are still patronized well and can keep up the good quality food as they have done for many years.

Best ever!!!!. I got the general tso’s chicken. Best ever. They also give the best fresh made to order fried noodles with duck sauce…mmmmmmmmm. You must go here if you are in the area!
I’ve only ordered take-out from New Star, the prices range from $5-10. Excellent food, never had a complaint.
Quick fresh food. New Chinese buffet restaurant ,food seams to be fresh. good selection of food lots of fish dishes which is a change for a Chinese buffet well priced always busy staff can be a little rude at time but overall good value for money in a great location and next to I-80 .great place for a quick lunch that wont break the bank overall 9/10…CHEF SCULL
Always Fresh but……… Now that there are a few more Chinese food places popping up in the area, they are finally giving you an option of free soup or a soda on the lunch menu. BUT, the girl who works behind the counter isn’t happy about it and she doesn’t tell you when you order, so make sure you get a true lunch special. i asked for a soup and she was charging me full price! She was so mad when i told her i wanted it to be free, and give me 2 more with the other specials i was ordering. all lunch specials always give you this extra soup or soda. other than that, the food is good and always fresh. an new buffet thats opening in the giant food court will certainly be HUGE competition.
The Buffet is awesome and Always Fresh and lots to choose from!!!
