Located in Tannersville off the I80 the Indian restaurant theme is what got me to take a detour. Little did I realize that I would have my dream of eating in a railways carriage fulfilled!Located off Days Inn compound, this restaurant is built out of a restored carriage and a quaint steam locomotive. Spacious interiors and flexi seating and a generous yet homely buffet makes this a very enduring place to dine and have conversations as well. The buffet is good and authentic, not too high on spice quotient which is what I loved. The bhindi, mixed veggies, mushroom curry and a rajma which you yearn to take more and more helpings of. All in all a great experience and highly recommended for the ambience and the food!!
Great place to order up some very tender and tasty Tandoor oven cooked dishes. Try the tasters’ plate and enjoy a bit of everything. Each of the meats held it’s own distinctive spice, aroma and flavor profiles. Tasty enough to be yummy!
What a waste. Food is ok.. but poor service.. less than average ambience and overpriced. On top of it, they recharge 20% gratuity on the bill.. which explains their poor service.. avoidable..
Best Indian place EVER!
