Bad Service. The waitress I encountered was very unprofessional and stupid. A pretty face is not always the SMARTEST choice. She sat my party of three but served appetizers with two plates. Placed the appetizers in from of two children and later divulged that she thought the 2 appetizers (both, different types of french fries) were the main course for my daughters. Upon receipt of our pizza she also brought two plates (3 customers) and asked me if I wanted another plate. This waitress never, not once, came back to the table to ask if we needed another drink or how our meal was. She wasn’t available to even bring us the bill because our waitress was on break. I had to ask another waitress for the bill. The owner was made aware of the poor service and he gives me two desserts. What a disappointment in Roma and Owner. My family will not go back. Roma used to be a place of dignity. I guess since they made it to the top customer service is going out the window, unless you are a friend of the owners’.
Awesome food. I’ve been eating at Roma since I’m little. They have amazing pizza, and with the addition of their new dining areas a few years back, you don’t feel like you’re right in the kitchen anymore. This addition also added to their menu. Everything I’ve ever gotten there has been delicious. They definitely have the best food in Pottsville and are a must if you are in the area visiting. They have so many choices!
Must try. The whole menu is great, but I love simplicity. When I’m in the area the simple plain cheese pie is great. The dough is not dry, perfect layer of chewy and with a crisp bottom crust. They don’t do it half assed and skimp on the sauce (I hate when I get ‘dry’ spots in rushed pies in DC), perfect amount of crunch, chew, wet, and cheese.Large is like 10 bucks, and better than what I pay over twice as much in metro cities around the east coast and 10x better, no joke.
Realy good pizza joint
Great food!. One of my must go to places when I visit family for the Holidays. Chicken parm is so good but large enough to share or bring a large appetite.
Best Pizza and Chicken Parm. I only make it to Pottsville once every year or two, but one of the places I go is Roma. The food is excellent and the service is wonderful. All of their pizza is delicious- wood grill bakes, fresh toopings. I am also a big fan of their chicken parmasean- crispy chicken smothered in a slightly sweet marinara- yum!
