What a great stop for lunch. This is a real nice Italian café with great soups and food with a variety of pastries. Along with great service, the café has a great atmosphere. We would definitely go back.
To walk into Carmellas is like walking into a restaurant in Italy. From the cases full of baked goods to the Italian music playing. The food here is amazing. Soups and sandwiches are incredible. We will definitely be back.

This is a small Italian deli where you can get great hoagies, soups and pastries/cookies. As soon as you enter you know you are in for a treat. Highly recommend!
I would definiTely recommend this place. A wide variety of pastries and one of the best Italian hoagies hands down! My only complaint is the price, this is scranton not New York City!!
Small friendly restaurant in an older part of town. Two sisters provide excellent service almost too much.Good is good. Refills are not free.
